Sammy SOS Rescue Dog ball launcher issues.

I had no problems last night playing with the machine, but this keeps happening today every 10-20 balls I shoot. Seems the space in the clear plastic lid is big enough for a ball to fall down into the launcher arm and get in the way.

I thought maybe a little tape in the right place might close that gap but I figured I'd ask you lovely people first before I go and start messing with stuff.

Big props to Peteybob for teaching me how to open the lower door, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to diagnose the problem at all.

Update: Apparently I just didn't have the plastic door closed all the way. False alarm!

Updated update: It happened again, and that's when I discovered the door was closed just fine, the real issue was that somebody snuck a couple of too-small ball bearings into my pachinko balls. Having removed them from circulation, the machine works perfectly.
