    Welcome to Pachitalk

looks to be a 1976 sankyo..

    good machines

look like you have a probem with the pay out.. the spoon is down and appears to have a ball on it.. there are not enough balls in the actual jackpot holder..

my guess is dust bunnies of dirt in the ball tracks..

your going to need more Balls.. you have just enought for testing so long as you put a weight on the low ball plunger..

more balls looks to solve most if not all you problems..

nice machine should cleam up easy

When you shoot a ball, and it does not enter a jackpot hole, it will come out the bottom in the back. You can put any kind of tub there to catch these "losers."

The wiring is for lights, typically only a couple, two-three bulbs, indicate a jackpot, and/or low balls in the main hopper, up on top in the back. You can play your machine without lights, but I find it's kinda neat to make them work like when they were first made.

    Nice CLEAN looking machine!

You have a very good conditioned 1975 Sankyo.
Everything appears fine accept the seesaw which is in the down position. Push up on the spring-loaded blue knob located under the seesaw and just add more balls inside the top green tray and you should be good. To empty the balls from the back, push the spring-loaded metal rod to the left which is located at the top right-hand side where the track makes a u-turn. There are two white feet that will release and the weight of the balls will be redirected down the chute to be collected. Push that same metal rod again to the right to re-engage the 2 white feet to the locked position so that balls will not dump out all over the floor when you setup to play next time. The 2 balls inside the seesaw are by design and act as counterweights.

Sankyo's from the 70's have a veneer playfield graphic rather than paper and vinyl, so it's less likely to age over time from sunfade and water stains. Your machine also has a transparent back cover, which is more desirable too.

You need a 7" x 2" catch tray in order to fit on the floorboard of you Sankyo.

The wiring connects 2 bulbs and 2 micro switches. They power the the lights when low on balls and whenever you win a payout. As it is now, you will not be able to run power to the switches and lights because the connector is not standard. It can be converted or spliced. Runs off 10 volts, but it is common to run on a 9v battery. The long plastic capsule between the wires is the glass fuse. It snaps opens, although due to age, I'd be careful not to break it. Clear plastics can be very brittle at this age. Also, you are missing the seesaw cover.

any sort of container or bin will work.. i make them out of wood so they are the perfect size..

    lights

when correctly hookec up and working the bulb on the back left is a low ball light.. the light in the center jackpot is a win light.. the low ball light will come one and stay one when low on balls.. the jackpot bulb will blink on and off with each jackpot paied

hard to tell from just pics but it look to be power to the red and white wire.. the black is not needed for home use.. 9 volt battery is the easy way..

    Check ebay for spare parts.

The cover on the see saw is cosmetic. The track cover--lack thereof--can lead to problems with the balls feeding to the jackpot mechanism. You can fab up something simple or search for a replacement. The idea is to keep the two columns only one ball high--no balls lumping up on each other.

A temp solution for the track cover is cut out some cardboard or clear plastic and wedge it. Should slip inside the thin gap on the right end and likewise the left end.

The seesaw cover should be interchangeable with the lower jackpot joint security cover located on the bottom right-hand side.
