    What machine frame is it?
What battle counter do you have?
The 6 or 8 pin connector on battle counters can indicate that its meant for a pachislo rather than pachinko, or you might need an interface board.

The counter might be the Asahi One YSS800

Any other leads on it. Or just that connector?

Similar counter in this listing but seems to be the L version

Notice the big bundle of wiring in the first picture and the blue tagged wiring in the last. This is what I would expect to see from a data counter for pachinko.

Yup none of that. The power cords are coming off it and running to a transformer but other than that. Thats it.

It's got the right screen info. Showing スタート and 大当たり so it is a pachinko version. I'll have to check later.

Cool. they aren't even the standard colours. However its normal to have 3 sets of wires connected.

According to this. it should be in 3, 6 and 8.
