James Bond CR Error

Hello everyone . I recently bought a James bond pachislo machine for $28. Everything light up and it had a cr error code . Thinking the guy didn't know how to reset it . I about broke my wrist pulling the money out of my pocket. I got it home and to my surprise I could reset it either. I took the coin reciever off and cleaned it. Put it back on and still the code was there. After reading what little I could find on it . I find that the machine should reset without the coin reciever in it so I unplugged the receiver. And tried again . Still the error code would not reset. Now when I turn the reset key and turn it on it goes to the payout number. So that tells me it's not the reset lock. The only thing I can come up with is the spin handle is bad . Does anybody have any other ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

On my Yamasa machines, if the coin hopper is removed ( unit is trying to pay out) and cant pay out, it will reset (when button pushed) and go directly back to the error for hopper jam.

Grizzly that's what kinda worries me . If it would reset for a second and go back to the cr error code . I would know it is the coin reciever . Because it don't means there is something else going on . Maybe the spin handle . A wire . A bad connection. Hell it might be the mother board . Idk . I was hoping somebody else has the same problem and could give me some insight on what to do next.

I would suspect a bad photo-interrupter in the medal sensing chute. Try unplugging the sensor assembly (that would detect coins/medals being inserted into the machine) and then reset the machine (usually a switch on the power supply)
