Default Unlimited ball buying and Center Feature Trigger with two relays

Messing around again with an older machine using the two front buttons (normally open) to control two small relays (normally closed) to trip two sensors.
This produces unlimited ball buying and a center feature cheat trigger. The machine still functions fully otherwise and surprisingly even hits a fever in this
    short demonstration video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9BTdFH0Hm0

Cool set up Which wires did you tap into on the backside?

I love that game, it was my first modern and I still enjoy it.

Pete, it's a bit involved because I couldn't locate the switch pins on the harness like i did on the sea story. However I took the shooter tray off and soldered 3 wires to the switch board traces. One is a common trace that hits both switches, and then one wire to each switch. These switches now control two separate relays hooked to corresponding sensors that are easy to get at. I"ll post pics of the sensor locations and a schematic later on.

Daverob has all the pin outs listed on his web page for the 25pin dongle. it includes both buttons. I used it on my arduino project. to actualy eject the smart card from a card reading machine.

So here are the two points you will need to tap into that are normally closed , the one behind the ribbon cable is the feature starter. I tapped into the white wire a little further upstream. The other will give you balls when you break the connection of one of the wires.20210906_155901 (1).jpg20210906_160027 (1).jpg
