    Default Heiwa Power Supply

    A really technical question. :-)

A recent Tayaki-kun purchase . It was never converted to 110v, so the guy had an external transformer to plug it in to. Someone came along and plugged it in to 110V and it went boom.

I get it, take apart the PS and find the internal fuse. Replace the fuse and plug it in. At this point the leds on back of the machine come on, then there is a burst of flame, then a pop, then a lot of magic smoke.

I can see that the Vin of both HA16114P chips blew. I assume replacing just them will blow them again.

What is next to check? This chip has a darned wide Vin window, so I'm a bit surprised they blew.

Any troubleshooting / fixing pointers would be awesome. I'm fairly electronically handy, but not to the point of understanding what each circuit does without an explanation.

Or if anyone has a spare PS floating around....

    Thanks!

There is normally a protection diode somewhere that needs replacing.
What Heiwa frame is it? I do have a spare Heiwa PSU for the Lupinasu frame. (I think)

I am new to the more modern pachinko, so I do not know how to determine the frame. The PSU is a Heiwa (TDK) FCM300, though.

Here is a pic of the unit if that helps frame identification.
