    Question Battle Counter Help

Hi folks, I bought a battle counter last year to use in my Sankyo Victory frame machine and never got it to work, originally when it was first hooked up it was permanently triggering a fever hit (even when the machine wasn't being played) and wouldn't register any information from the machine. After a while all lights went out and the display just shows a "1" and nothing else. Every now and again a few if the lights will flicker but it all just seems very glitchy. Has this thing bricked itself? I've attached pictures of the counter as well as the wiring loom and the board it connects to on my machine. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

    Judging by this

    https://www.pachitalk.com/forums/sho...ictory+counter

the Victiry has voltage outputs for counters. The blue wire loom from your counter is for optocoupler connections.

You may have sent voltage where voltage was not meant to go.

Best way is to disconnect the plug from the machine and put a link across the Start connection. and see if your getting a count on the counter.

Is there any other looms on the counter with the same 6 wire combo.

Ah okay, that could explain it then. It did come with a handful of other connectors. I tried bridging the pins on the connectors to see if it would trigger anything on the counter but no luck at all. Still no lights and just a "1" on the display.

    Thanks again, James
