Default Got the Machine and the Transformer...where to the wires go :

I’m usually a lot better at this but for some reason I can’t figure it out or find the answer.

I have my 24v 10amp transformer for my Pachinko machine. Being in America I have to wire it up from the 110 way. The only directions I can find is that the red goes to red and black goes to black. Is black or red hot? Does it matter?
the low voltage side has 3 wires. How are they wires to the machine? Attached is the transformer and the small directions I found from the website I got it from.
    thanks in Advance!

It doesn't matter if the hot goes to the black or red wires. On the output side, connect the blue wires to the power cord of the pachinko machine and leave the yellow wire unconnected. Make sure all connections are secure and insulated (including the end of the yellow wire).

Remember you are working with line voltages which can be dangerous, so if you are unsure about anything, then ask again, or even post a photo of your wiring for more experienced eyes to check over before connecting it to the power.

If there's anything you are uncomfortable doing, then please consider getting an electrician to wire it up for you.

Ahhh thank you! I actually did come across some transformer basics saying the hot can go to either side right after I posted but the 24 v side was something I still needed info on. I’m very comfortable actually doing electrical work just not reading schematics sometimes. Again Thank you!

What it basically is. Is x2 120v to 12v transformers. Depending on how you wire it. There are 4 options.
As long as you follow as above. You're be ok. As Dave said. Isolate the unused leads as they will still have voltage in them and could cause a short.
