Default How many Pachinko’s can 1 24v transformer power

Hi all! It’s been a while but I finally got another Modern Pachinko machine 5 years later from getting my first. (Both Kinnikuman Ones). Would 1 24v 6.25a transformer be able to safety power both of them at the same time?
    Thanks in Advance!

a 6.5A transformer would run 1x machine thats about 8 years old depending on spec. All the latest machines require a 10A transformer

Thank’s for the quick reply! Good to see you’re still helping out so much cause I’m pretty sure you helped me 5 years ago too lol. Not sure why I thought a transformer could run multiple machines. The new machine is from 2014. Where could I look to see what amps it takes?

Sure they can. I run a 500va transformer to run 2 machines and the data counters.

That's a 20A transformer. You can get 1000va ones too to (40A) but they are big and heavy.

As to the new machine you need to find the va rating. As that's what all good transformers list by. There.is normally a sticker and printing on one of the circuit board cases to tell you the rating. Of course. If you want to reveal your purchase. Someone might already know the spec.

Ahh yea that makes sense and is probably what I read about having two machines on 1 transformer.
I’ll exam the back of my new one a little harder later today and see if I see the amps on it. I’m guessing it’ll be 10amps since it’s 7 years old. As for which machine it is no secrets here it’s the Kinnikuman Tag Tournament.

Thats the same frame as my AKB48 which is a power hungry beast. I think its rated at 250va (or 10.42A) but I looked mine and couldn't see anything on it saying so.

Thanks again! I did a pretty deep search of the machine for something saying the amps usage but found nothing. I know you’re not in the US but do you have any recommendations for a transformer that would work?

I'm sure others in the US could advise better. The place I get mine from has a partner site in the US. so I had a quick look there and found this one.

The wiring is easy as its only signal core. The side with Black and White wire goes to your mains feed. The side that is black and black, goes to your machine.

Side note. I have never used one of these transfomers in the UK as we have different mains voltages.

Completely understand thank you! Wiring it up won’t be an issue. I’m pretty good with doing electrical work but I always like to double check to see if I’m getting the right materials to be safe. My first machines been running great these past 5 years so I’m excited to get this one up and running. Really cool seeing the new innovation going into these even if I have to spend more to get a beefier transformer lol. Again thank you!

I have several of this unit running my machines and have been very pleased. They are 15.6 amps for output if you are still looking for something.

I have a big Kirin brand parlor transformer that can handle 4 moderns; it’s as big and heavy as a car battery though. Probably weighs 45 lbs! Stays cool though! It says 1000 va so I assume it’s up to the duty of 3-4 power hungry moderns; I’ve got 3 newer machines plugged in it with no issues. Haven’t tried getting 3 fevers at once with all machines on that transformer yet though.

It was free! One of the many gifts Compirate game me when went to his place to buy a bunch of cells and pachinkos. I bought a Cutie Honey from him that was imported with no transformer so he graciously threw it in no charge!
