    Default Heiwu

I have a few older single shot pachinkos. I know nothing about them. Can you guys help me with this one?
What can you tell me about the manufacturer?
    When was it made?
    How rare is this machine?
About what is this one worth these days?

I have two other single shots I'll be posting asking the same questions.
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Rick

    (considered an early machine)

    probably late 60's (gussing)

not rare.. but by no means are they common..

value.. ??? im not into single shot machines.. to slow for me.. low value.. other member's love them.. around Pachitalk 100 to 150.00 would be my guesstamate .. if i were selling it.. in compleat working condition with balls i would as 250..300 and take the first serious offer..

    my 2 cents

careful with those balls they will do more damage to a machine then there worth.. one of our members tumbled his for a long long time and blued them with a gun bluing kit.. probably best to toss them..

Same here. Heiwa from the late 50's. Probably worth less than the Ginza due to the corrosion. Maybe $100-125.

    Hi Rick,

    Heiwa means peace.
Probably made in the late 40's as I see some plastic chutes yet no lights, no metal front frame.
    Assembly Number: 185375
That metal plate on the front top is a publisher's sales office address
Frameless single shot machines are uncommon, but they pop-up a few times a year.
Your Heiwa is worth probably no more than $200 in its present condition, glass/balls included. Restored however, I would guess $600-$1000. Original 40's era pachinko balls in mint condition included, even higher!

I don't think this machine is 1940's based on the plastics in the rear, Masamura gauge nail pattern, chrome pockets rather than hand painted pockets. 1940's machines are exceedingly uncommon.

I like the early simple design of the machine . If I didn't have so many machines right now I would make a serious offer of at least $175 + What ever shipping would be to a 93940 California zip code . You can keep the engraved tired pachinko balls and the cool metal container.
When things don't go right the 1st time , Step back ,Take a break and come back renewed. RGS
