    Default Misono 15

I have a few older single shot pachinkos. I know nothing about them. Can you guys help me with this one?
What can you tell me about the manufacturer?
    When was it made?
    How rare is this machine?
About what is this one worth these days?

I have two other single shots I'll be posting asking the same questions.
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Rick

looks to be the nicer machine so far.. nice looking

    (considered an early machine)

    probably late 60's (gussing)

not rare.. but by no means are they common..

value.. ??? i'm not into single shot machines.. to slow for me.. low value.. other member's love them.. around Pachitalk 150 to 200 would be my guesstamate .. if i were selling it.. in complete working condition with balls i would as 300 400 and take the first serious offer..

    my 2 cents

Looks similar to my 57’ Misono, mine has plastic around the ball entry hole though. Maybe earlier than 57’? No idea. I paid $100 for mine a couple years ago; it’s way way better shape than most 70’s pachinkos somehow! They don’t make em’ like they used to!

Yep, late 50's Misono. Probably $150ish. Of the 3 machines that you posted, personally I think this would be the most desirable, followed by the Ginza, and then the Heiwa.

Misono means "sacred", never heard of them, but I wouldn't be surprised if they changed their name to Heiwa (Peace), or some other well known Pachinko publisher name. Several companies changed their names back then. Probably a marketing strategy. But inside they are all buddies.

In general, your machine, like many at the end of an era, is a mix-match of parts between late 40's and early 50's. Japanese don't waste parts, they will use whatever they can and these are handmade machines.

The frame is 40's era, the front receiver tray and playfield is 50's era, and the guts (except for the plastic parts and obvious catch trough) are 40s era too. Look at the launch handle, see the angle? That's 40's era. They are at a higher angle. There were no Ball hopper windows or win reserve chambers in the 40's; I believe that began in the 50's.
