    Default 2nd Vintage Machine Questions

Picked up my second Vintage pachinko machine at an Estate Sale for $30! haggled it down from $50. Looks like its a Model A (recycler). Also came with most of the original documentation which was awesome. Looks like it was labeled as "Monkeypod tea cart" from 1974

Brought it home and started cleaning it. Didn't clean the play area yet (going to follow the advice in the one thread for that part on a different day)

    Couple of questions

    1) Read the cleaning guide already and there's a couple of recommendations for cleaning rust. What's the go-to #1 for really light rust?

    2) Looks like there's a small 10v fuse in the back. Does this control only the light or other things as well i.e sounds?? Would like to replace it and was wondering what my options are to find that exact type of fuse.

As this is my 4th machine total now (2 vintage and 2 modern), i guess i am officially a collector

Thanks as always for your input!

000 or 0000 steel whole for the chrome..

9 volt battery for the power (lights only) on the orange and white tabs.. the yellow tab was used to let the parlor know when the machine was low on balls..

any glass fuse will work. the fuse was used in the parlor as a machine was hooked into the mains for power.. we are low voltage and each bulb is a fuse in itself.

these never had batteries so there's no place to insert one. as mopar said, they were hooked directly into a low voltage source at the parlor. so for home use get a 9V battery and wire that directly to the tabs.
