    Default 11 tulip Sanyo

Somebody is selling an interesting machine near me I’ve never seen before locally. More tulips than a Powerflash?! Busted up upper tray and and missing reward overflow.

Do these play any different than a “regular” pachinko? I don’t see any solenoids like a Powerflash has; but 11 tulips with no “jokers” that close pockets; seems too easy. Just curious if anyone has seen this model or familiar. Also, what is up with those buttons??

I didn't find any info on it doing a search for "大三元 三洋 パチンコ" (Daisangen Sanyō Pachinko).

The sangenpai may just be for decoration, not actually buttons.

Those are only pics available; guy wants $100 for a mandatory group purchase of 3 machines, the other 2 other much better condition but not oddballs like this one, ones a Diiachi, the other is some late 70’s mysterious manufacturer that befuddles me; it’s got a cool UFO though.

Yeah, you might be right about that; makes it’s pretty interesting even if they are for decoration! Shame about the upper tray though, I’m still on the fence with this one!

I'd buy those in one second. I have the Daichi, at least I have a machine with that center feature...can't recall seeing one with that many tulips. Other one is nice too.

Definitely would spend the dough for the one with all the tulips.

Yeah, I might pick it up to restore one day (if I can ever find another upper tray for this model). I just noticed it’s got some weird triangle shaped tulip “blockers” that blocks 5 of tulips unless they are in the open position? Perhaps this machine operates in a Powerflash like manner gameplay wise without electricity/solenoids?

I guess the only way to tell is buy it if nobody else around here has seen one in action!

Yeah; I’m going to get them soon I think. He mentions since doesn’t know if they work or not will sell them for $75 now total.

I can flip/resell that flipcup Diiachi; already have a Sanyo with that center feature! The other two might be restoration worthy. After seeing the crazy voodoo magic Wayne-Ooo can do with broken ball trays gives me hope!

Not seeing anything “special” about the UFO one; besides that center feature and seems complete/good shape.

    Default 11 tulip Sankyo

Just bought the group for $75. Turns out my instincts were spot on; this IS a unicorn special Sanyo (not Sankyo as I mistakenly posted) it’s got 2 solenoids! Seems like Sanyo’s answer to the Powerflash!

If anybody has a lead or spare Sanyo upper (and lower) ball tray please let me know as I MUST restore this thing now!!

Also the UFO one appears to be bombing an aircraft carrier?! Interesting and relevant theme now the government officially recognizes UFO phenomena!

The “buttons” are just for show; they are the tiles used in some Japanese game this machine is themed for. Next step is to hook it up to a 24v transformer and do some testing to find out which tulips do what! One solenoid opens all tulips; one closes them all; that’s all I can tell so far. There’s 3 different micro switches for the winning balls to trip to activate the solenoids.

Very exciting to stumble across such a unique pachinko!

Thanks! I think so too! The UFO one is a Newichigin n-100 model. Never heard of that one before. It’s actually in really good shape just dirty.

Any idea on the year anyone? 79’ or 80’ maybe?

Ditto for the 11 tulip Automatic Sanyo

I've got an Ichijin, missed on a couple Newichijin.
Guessing about 78 as it has the same back plastics as a couple other more uncommon machines I have.

oh wow what a score! Can I add these pics to the Transitional Electric Pachinko page? When you clean it up I can update with nicer photos.
please someone confirm the expiry year
