SOLVED: Apparently there was a volume knob.... with a nice big red sticker... saying VOLUME in Japanese...

I'm glad that you got the volume sorted out. My machines have most of the same appearance but without a volume knob. Is yours the three posts hanging down from the black plastic molding? If not, could you please mark the part you found?

Hey Pete, yeah it's the three knobs, each one controls a different speaker, Top, Bottom and Shooter knob. They go from fairly quiet to deafening in a just a couple of degrees. I'll try and get a better pic of it tomorrow for you.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like aftermarket add-ons by the seller. Those look like they are in a good spot. Better than just hanging around anywhere on the backside (like mine). Those who have added some onto their own machines and followed this thread are probably saying with me "oh there they are, how did I miss that in an earlier picture". LOL (first post, 2nd and 4th pictures)

So took a look this morning for you and you seem to be correct, I can see where the panel has been cut away and later reattached with the three volume control knobs. Unfortunately no way to see the wiring as it's been glued back into place and to access the area on the machine would involve unscrewing multiple sections.

If what I've been told about this frame type is accurate the volume is usually a black switch on the back with 5 settings, mine didn't have any effect as it's been overridden by the after market mod.
