That’s a Fever round indicator. Are the payouts still not working after you made sure the wheel/gear is free and can dispense balls? What error codes/lights are lit up on the back?

no error codes when the machine starts up and i play.
i have hit a fever and had no payouts, btw.

when i turned the know error code 3 came on: payout count switch abnormality.

otherwise no error codes the rest of the times.

I’d try finding the reset button; hold it down for 5 seconds while powering machine on.

If still not paying out; contact the vendor.

You have two reset buttons. Tiny black one for resetting error codes while power is on. Red one to the left to hold down while powering up. I have a different looking frame so yours may or may not be similar.

i thought the issue might be with the connector nozzle (right arrow) but it all lines up since the balls flow.

still no payout - how do i access the payout mechanism from the back of the machine.Attachment 97889
Drain off any excess balls, disconnect the wire set, depress tab A and you can slide the cartridge up and out for inspection.

i reseated the cabling at both ends after checking it out but not much else i can do since it's electronic; either it activates or it doesn't!

i would imagine if there was a motor issue i'd get an error code, but who knows.

did the reset button thing a couple of times. sucks bc everything else seems to work great!

contacted the vendor and we'll see how it plays out.

other things that stop payouts. is if the bottom tray is full and if the door is open. Although both of these are normally accompanied by an alarm and/or on screen message.

Have you Disconnect and Remove the Ball Payout assembly from the back of the machine and this is Critical Take Plenty of Photos as you Disassemble the ball payout and get some q-tips and alcohol to clean the ball path and the sensors in this assembly. Then with the photos carefully assemble the payout assembly and put it back into the machine .

Oh , check the cable that connects to it and the pins on the payout assembly . Use a magnifying glass to check the pins and if bent ,Carefully with a Jewelry screwdriver flat tip Gently bend it back into position.

The best of luck with solving the ball payout issue.
When things don't go right the 1st time , Step back ,Take a break and come back renewed. RGS

Just curious, have you heard back from the seller yet and will they help you?

    refunded.
worked through all the troubleshooting advice given here, and then on a call with the vendor; we couldn't figure out the issue. the vendor offered to let me keep as-is for a partial refund, but i decided that my first modern should be fully operational, even though the theme is something i really like.

sent it back and received the full refund.

despite the setbacks it was a learning experience; what it really highlighted was the inconvenience of being outside the USA and the costs involved for tariffs, etc.

What an ordeal! That sucks. Sounds to me like they never tested payouts.

JT Comatz based in Taiwan has always treated me good; they send you a video of your specific machine being fully tested right before it’s packed; so no surprises like ordering from a stranger off yahoo auctions. Also, they obviously are used to shipping internationally. The FB pachinko club is ordering 2 pallets of machines from them in the coming months.
