Has anyone ever re-chrome the door frame for a pachislo slot
I picked up a vintage 2001 Carnival Night pachislo machine today. It was not taken care of correctly by the previous owner, it is super dirty and has a little rust on the inside of the machine. The chrome is bubbling in a few places and on the edge of the door its flaking off. I just wanted to get some ideas on what people do in this case to save the machine's door frame. P.S. In my state it has been illegal to do any chroming and they don't have chrome shops anymore for a while now.

Well you could sand the chrome off the metal ,polish the metal or sand the metal and use chrome spray paint.

we had a member powder coat the frame of a vintage Pachinko.. it was trashed as i remember.. looked perty good
