Well I'm currently waiting for a pachislo I brought on Rakuten in Japan. Using Fromjapan as the middle man as they will not deal direct. Should come with 500 tokens. And as coming from a dealer I hope should take the risk out of buying unknown from Yahoo Japan Auctions.

But Golden Week in Japan is holding things up.

Golden week is a public holiday stretching from 29th April till the end of the first week in May. Lots of businesses and offices close down for the week and staff take a small vacation.

I’ve seen a girl that goes by pachinko Karen on Facebook. Seems like she can find almost anything. Has anyone here ever felt with her?

    I really hope that's a spelling mistake.

Yeah, I’ve bought 2 from her. No issues. I made a thread a long time ago about the process.

Queens Blade and Tenryu Infinity, with a 3rd deal in progress once they get the machine from Japan.

when you get these machines are they ready to go or will I have to buy a transformer and plug? Also about how much was shipping?

They are now charging $60 for a 110v transformer; they used to include for free previously. Shipping will depend how big and heavy the machine you ordered is. Years ago they shipped for as low as $300; recent quote in COVID times was $750 for DHL; 4 figure sum for FedEx

So needless to say shipping prices have skyrocketed, and nearly doubled the past year with no signs of that going away soon. Shipping container shipments to the US have completely dried up for years now further driving up pachinko prices.

Hopefully that changes in time, I guess as a positive side it’s a really good time to sell if you’ve got them!

I asked Karen. She said that Sonic is hard to find. That is why I ask for Rita from Blue Horatu contact information. She some Sonic machines back in the day. Maybe, she remembers an owner who would sell one.

I should point out, services to Europe may differ to services to the UsA.

    Cost of mine so far.

    Machine cost 21,500 yen
internal shipping to Tokyo 5000 yen

Still got to have the big bill of shipping it to the UK
