    Default Snap Ring Pliers.

I am struggling with dismantling my Model B. The snap ring pliers I have are too big, and I don’t know if trying to buy smaller tips will just delay things and leave me still disappointed and unable to proceed. Does any one have recommendations for the “best” tool for this?

And if it matters, I have stubby Flintstone fingers. Just trying this message is a trying experience, Lord knows what I think I doing sticking my bear paws into the tiny recesses of this Japanese machine.

I just use a small flat blade screwdriver in one of the back side slots. A small twist will pop em right off. Keep a finger on it or it may go flying.

something with a sharp point.. i have a lock pick set that is straight. bent at a 90, bent with a wiggle. and bent into a hook.. they work great for removing them.

get your self a super small set of needle nose pliers.. magnetize them to put them back on..

Okay, for those using something other than “snap ring PLIERS” to take off these rings, I get how it’s reasonable to plink them off with something else.

Please tell me about your method of putting the rings back ON without that tool.
