    Default vintage Mizuho

Drove to Guelph to pick this up for CA$50. It works - i played a few old balls through - just needs some low-visibility pack rust cleaned away and some scrubbing.

For this one I'm thinking of doing away with the case entirely. Re-fabricate the door and add some "feet" like you get with the Epoch plastic pachinko toys; we'll see.

    1. any help with the date of the machine is appreciated.
    2. that ball chute spring - is or is not supposed to be bent over the screw like that?
    3. that power supply connector....

    thanks!

    (My 8th machine)

That's a nice one! I'm a sucker for lotsa tulips.

    1976 or "77, I believe...

Looks like the wire is bent--it probably won't effect anything...I would reform it, but that's me.

You can cut that connector off and splice right to the wires. Doubtful you will find a proper power supply with that connector nowadays.

    Nice machine!

    follow up question:

any ideas how the gameboard is attached to the frame? i hope the answer isn't "glue."
wondering if it's all dowel tension?
    IMG_9143.jpgIMG_9145.jpg

usually the board is nailed into the frame which is nailed into the door..

    yes it expired in 78

looks like someone was using the spring to hold the ball hopper down?? now sure why you would want that..

hard to say for sure but looks like power to yellow and green.. yellow to the light and green to the fuse holder??

you can buy plug "bullet connectors" ends that will fit in the holes you need.. for some reason i cant cut a factory plug off i have to find a way to leave them original
