    Default Hey Kagami volume controls

Hi! I'm new to these forums.

I just got an Hey! Kagami Pachislo machine, it uses the Yamaha YDA 181-T amplifier chipset, and as far as I can tell there are two of them running at 2x 30w.
I've located the speaker wires to the front connected to these two chips, a total of four speakers. There is also a sub, but it's hard to find.
But I am guessing that the sub is running on the same type of amplifier chip at 1x 50w. Hench the sub isn't very loud but the top speakers are.
I mean... loud, as in I already have tinnitus but I might give my neighbors tinnitus aswell :-P

So I'm looking to splice in two stereo L-pads, but I'm not entirely sure which ones I should get?
    (Sorry I couldn't upload a picture, because I'm a new member?)

EDIT: Hrhrm... Alternative finding a way to set default volume.
There are digital volume controls on this machine, but as soon as an alarm goes off or the player leave the game the volume resets to super high.

Hello Atarian and welcome to the group

Depending on how new your machine is (I don't know that one) there may be an additional switch inside to reduce the initial and reset volumes. I recently found this on my AKB machine and set the volume to zero for start ups. I simply increase it when I start to play of return to it after a pause in play.

Post pictures of the inside when you are able and we'll see what we can find to help you out.

Thank you! I've found a yellow rotary switch that lowers default volume.
Altho the Alarms are still at high volume.(Alarms as opening the door or being out of coins)
I think my machine is from 2018, it was played at that time in the pachinko parlor anyway.

Peteybob I made a short video of my machine here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBY9SljVL4w
I think that the dance stage is one of the coolest additions, altho I failed to activate it in this vid, because it switched scene when I was about to press the select button.
(Machine set to vol 3 out of 20 in video)

Here's a picture of the switch inside my AKB pachislo for the master volume. I have it set all the way down and the automatic sound level is nearly off. All the way up is 100% and middle is 50%. The start up alarm is high even at the middle setting but at low it isn't loud enough to bother anyone. From there I simply raise the volume to whatever I like before gameplay via the gamepad on the front of the machine.

Hmm... I'll try rotating the volume knob to 0 and see if the alarms goes down somewhat.
Since it's in the middle of the night now I'll try that tomorrow.
I can take a few pictures of the machine, I believe that there are many machines that share the same type of frame.

So the master volume works, but alarms are not affected by changing it.
I'll leave it as is for now and if I get too annoyed by the alarms volume I'll see if I go about modding.

Some pachinko frames have really loud alarms that go off at full volume on start up and I remember some installing a switch to cut off all sound until the alarm is done!!
