Biohazard 5 Coin Mech not accepting tokens.

Hello all! Just joined pachitalk and cant wait to chat it up with everyone about pachislos!
But as the title states, i recently purchased a Biohazard 5 pachislo and it came through fedex a bit roughed up. I plugged it in and everything works (lights,sounds,screen) but I noticed the tokens jamming and not going through. After further inspection I noticed a piece I found on the bottom of the machine that looked like kind of a metal boomerang, short story long it was a piece missing from the coin mech (that's why the coins weren't sliding all the way through) so after replacing this piece, now the coins slide all the way through to the hopper, but, now when it slides past the sensor, the alarm goes off and it gives me an E05 error. Do I need to readjust the sensor somehow? Or do I need a whole new coin mech? Any help would be appreciated .

If the coin is too slow going through the sensors it could cause an error alarm. Or if a sensor is faulty and not detecting a coin. That too would cause an error. You could try a little clean if the sensors. And reseating any wiring to the acceptor. My ToHeart2 is a bugger for tokens setting the last sensor alarm off.

Thank you all for the warm welcomes! But unfortunately I cleaned out the mech, top to bottom, and still everytime a token rides along the pathway its pops the E05 error.

It might be the one of the sensors not seeing the token so it doesn't detect the signal inputs on the right order. Now I don't know if the all the sensors have an led indicator on the main board like the rest of the buttons do. But that would be a good thing to check.

Yes I have tried both and same result unfortunately.

So after playing around with it some more I notice that when i drop in the token, the Led indicator lights up led numbers 19 and 20. I also noticed LED number 21 stays lit always. I dont know if any of this information helps but I'm hoping it does

Ok. Unfortuatly I don't know if LED 21 is the sensor. But if you can block it with something like a clean wooden coffee stick and see if it doen't trigger any other leds. That would be a good starting point
Failing that. you might have to remove it and source a replacment.

So I sourced another mech from Taiwan, and I am hoping that solves the problem! Soon as it gets here I will give an update! I just want to play this guy already!
