Default Swapping out CR Ghost In The Shell playfield

I was trying to remove the play field from my OK/Kyoraku Ghost In The Shell machine and place in my Hissatsu Shigotonin playfield. It seems both are M7 playfields and look like they are the same shape. But the Ghost In The Shell playfield won’t come out. It seems there are wires connected to the frame? I recall on other frames the playfields just pop out.

Here are photos of the attached wires. I don’t want to mess with them but I was certain the playfield would be interchangeable. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Trace out the wire bundles that are holding the cell in place, they should terminate on one side or the other in a quick connect. Pop the connectors and it should swing out.
You can check the cell that you are looking to put in this frame and see the connectors that have to be un hooked.

If volume controls where attached in a "across the cell AND frame" way you might have to cut those volume wires but I don't see them so it might not be the case. (Don't cut anything till you check back here!)

The wire bundle on the right side stays as is with the frame and shouldn't bother anything when swapping cells. The heavier red wire isn't on my five OK/Kyoraku cells. Perhaps a jumper wire special to that cell or add-on volume wires?

There is a latch below the right side circle you drew. You can open that with the cell in place. Perhaps you can see further details about the extra wire(s) on the left side. The cell may just be pinned in against the wires. Lift up a tad while removing the cell. Also, the doors come off easily from these frames which I find helpful when swapping the cells by myself. This takes a lot of weight off without a door and glass hanging in front of you for unanchored frames.
