Default Hi Yall Ok just putting this Out there....

I've read several times that if your pachinko balls are even slightly rusted to recycle or pitch.

    But WHAT IF?!?!?!!?

Has anyone ever tried cleaning the balls via rust remover, vinegar steel wool down to bare metal and then
Spray Painting with Rustoleum? Then Gloss Coat them?

Could open up all kinds of possibilities... especially for my Glow in the Dark Black light machine. Let me know if anyone has ever tried this.

I haven't though of such exotic looking balls which sounds pretty cool but I wonder if the coating will chip or degrade fast with a lot of use banging around as they do. But I play 12+ hours a week.

I recently got about 300 old balls with around 50 nasty looking ones that cleaned up nicely so the old can be saved. I tumbled them for about 8 hours in finely ground walnut shells with a generous amount of liquid brass polish mixed in.

    BTW; Very cool looking machine

A good condition pachinko ball is Machined , and Heavy Chrome Plated

Trying to recycle Pitted and Rusted Pachinko with all sorts of things and then running them through your pachinko machine

Well you will cause wear and damage to your pachinko machine and the paint will change the size and way the ball functions .

You can get really good used pachinko balls on eBay in either Silver or Gold Chrome Plating that was done professionally in Japan

    Silver Chrome Plated
