Default I said I wasn't going to start collecting machines.

So I have a family heirloom machine up in Minnesota that's been jammed up and not working for years. Lockdown got me thinking about restoring it. I've maintained I don't want to let this hobby get the best of me and start collecting more machines,

    BUT

I've got two eight-year-old kids at home here in Texas, one of whom is very mechanical-engineering-inclined. He basically created his own version of a pachinko machine out of a cardboard box and other junk around the house. I think he would have a blast having one around, and would hopefully enjoy cleaning and restoring one with me. Plus I bought a battery cage for my family machine, but it came in a pack of two, so really it seems the die is cast. I mean I can't waste the forty-seven cents worth of plastic, can I??

So I've been looking, but I haven't found something that seems like a slam dunk purchase, and because I'm new I'm a little trepidatious. But I'm going to this little town of Glen Rose, TX in a couple of days, and low and behold there's one down there for sale.

What do you stout fellows and fine chaps think of this listing? It looks like it actually has the elusive lower track cover...any other observations from the more experienced?

    Thanks for any advice!

I'm no expert on vintages. But it looks like the fuse block is missing (No biggie) but I'm sure the flag isn't meant to be visable in th ewindow unless the bottom trays are full. So I expect something is slighly out of whack or bent.
