Default Need help identifying fluorescent tube.

    Hi Gang.
I have been here a long time, and I'm usually pretty quiet.
I need some help identifying a fluorescent tube belly glass light for an olympia hot rod queen.
Does anyone know a reorder number for this thing ?
Its very thin and about 12" long.
This is the first machine I've seen with a super thing fluorescent tube.
    Thank all for your help

The light is very thin. Thinner than a pencil.
Any help with a reorder number and where I can find replacements would really be appreciated
    Thanks everyone.

Measure the diameter of the bulb. T sized bulbs are based on diameter. Each number is 1/8" so a 1/4" is a T2. 3/16" is a T1 1/2.

A quick search for T2 Florescent came up with something that looks like yours. I know it's too long, but it gives you a search option.

    Excellent
    Thank you
    Compirate
Looks like the diameter is 3/16"
    1/4" is to big.
    Thanks again for the help.
    It is greatly appreciated.

I can't seem to find anything smaller than T2 other than monitor backlights, which are a lot smaller. If you can't find a T1.5, perhaps you can modify the lamp mounting to fit a T2.

I was looking for T1.5 and can't find anything either.
I was thinking the same way.
I might try using a T2 to see if it would work.
    Thanks again.

Fluorescent will have a better 'spread' of light. There are plenty of LED systems that are direct replacements for fluorescents (search 'ccfl backlight), depends on the input voltage. Might be easier to use the voltage before the inverter for power.

Thanks moparformances. I don't think they will work, I would need to modify to much.
I have several f10d tubes from one of my other machines.
Thanks again for all the help.
