Default Heiwa Ace Attorney Volume Discrepancy

Hello! I got my first pachinko machine a few days ago and I'm super excited! That said, my electronics knowledge is fairly lacking so forgive me if I sound confused at times (I probably am).

The machine in question is a Heiwa Ace Attorney machine- when I start it up I have the default volume knob set to zero, which is fine (and I know how to change it for gameplay purposes). However, before playing, if the balls are aimed too heavily to the right (which is almost guaranteed from time to time if a visitor tries it out), the machine gives a repeated warning at the absolute loudest volume. It's jarring and almost scares me too much to play at times, especially at night. Is this just a normal feature, or can it be corrected to a more normal volume?

There are two events on modern games that will not respect the front volume controls:

    1. Opening the door
    2. Overshooting

Installing rear volume controls will take care of that. I’ll dig up the details for that frame and share.

Why would overshooting trigger a "loud alarm"...what are we being warned of?

It’s telling you you’re wasting balls by shooting to the right side of the game board during normal game play (e.g. not in a Rush or Victory). Not every manufacture does this, but this Heiwa V-Savior frame definitely does.

Note: followed up offline, sent volume controls.

Hi there! I’m having the same problem with this machine, any chance I could get the volume control wiring info please? Really struggling to locate them. Many thanks!!

    and biscuits

The speakers will be a Two wire jack to tap in one of the two wires with a volume control (L- pad or a wire wound volume potentiometer) but some machines have a slide switch with multiple selections in the back of the machine .

Some even have a volume control in front of the machine (left or right on the center knob on the top front feeder tray
