Heiwa Exhaust no lights-no sound

Good morning to all:

I have a "Exhaust" by Heiwa. It takes coins, the wheels spin, the wheels stop when buttons are pressed. It keeps score and pays out. But, no sign of front belly lights or top front lights. Also, the sound is missing. I'm suspecting that one of the larger boards inside the back of the case is the offending party. Has anyone had a Heiwa or specifically a "Exhaust" machine that made no sounds?

As above. No sound could be speakers unplugged by previous owner. or cheap volume pots burnt out.

Thanks for everyone's help. One of the main boards finally blew up some of its chips. Many parts are salvageable.
