can anyone help my surftrip machine when you start the reels spinning they stop on there own after about 5 seconds everthing else works fine any help would be appreciated thanks

Sounds like it has an Auto Stop on it.
Check the wiring harness connection at the stopboard and see if there is an Auto Stop board connected. If so, you can unplug it from the wiring harness and plug the wiring harness directly into the stopboard.
It may look similar to the picture below.

can a auto stop board be used on other machines

If it looks like the one in the picture, it is a universal auto stop and can be used on any machine that has the same wiring harness connection.Originally Posted by blueeyes
