    Default Newbie questions

Hi, new here and hopefully I'm asking in the right place but forgive me if not.
I recently bought a new to me house and in the basement I have a Pachinko machine.
I am trying to find some info and some help. Firstly does anyone know what this machine is and, secondly, is there a way to open it as it's attached to the wall and has no key..
Hopefully I've attached a few pics
Edit: can't seem to get more than one pic loaded?

Hello and welcome. Pics must be 2mb or under, you may need to resize them.

When I click your links and sign in, I see my own Amazon photos...

You need to access the back side of the wall or extract the machine so you can access the back side of it. The front door release and the frame release are located on the back.

Do you see any pull cords sticking out at the top?

Well I guess the only will be to try and cut through the fasteners holding it to the wall then.
There are no cords anywhere, all I see are some screws in the side of the case and the lock on the front.
I wish I could upload pics but it let me upload that one and no more. Is there a limit for new members by chance?

Figure out how it's hanging there, looks like it was put up after drywall so it should come down after you find the fasteners.

So look right where the studs are on the top and the bottom to see if he toe nailed it (which will suck)

I was assuming it was openable when it was installed and it's been screwed through the back of the case.

Maybe the lock mech has been disabled. Have you tried needle nose pliers to turn it?

x2 on the French cleat. They weigh about 50lbs, so try to just lift straight up, maybe with a wiggle side to side to break it free. Worst case, if it's drilled through a cleat on the frame, that may be enough to wiggle the toggle bolts loose. Or if it REALLY doesn't move, you know its anchored into studs.

Long shot and not meaning any offence if it seems stupid, but is there a 2" hole on the right side? If so, reach a finger in there and lift the latch while pulling on the thumb rest.

This is what it will look like once it's open if that helps visualize:

    Good luck!

Well it's not off the wall yet but I have found it's fastened using 4 brackets that seem to be attached to the edge of the case and then screwed to the wall. Haven't prised too much as I don't want to damage the case itself. Anyone come across one with these brackets or is it something that's been added?

If you need a key made I can do that for you. You just need to send me the lock with the bar attached and we can make them. I make barrel keys, Nishijin keys all kinds
