Default New to Pachinko, Identification and Restoration

    Hi there,

I am new to Pachinko but have some history working on EM Pinball machines. I just bought my first Pachinko machine and, unlike regular pinball machines, have been surprised that I can't find a similar-looking model online. Are many Pachinko's swapped with different parts over the years? If anyone can point me in the direction to restore one of these machines and help me figure out what machine I have, I would be grateful. Here are some pictures of the Pachinko I just bought.

    Thanks for the help!

Mid 70s Daiichi. 10 ball jackpot not very common. Nice looking machine! Pics of back?
    And...Most importantly! WELCOME to Pachitalk!

my advice to buy another, more common machine (nishijin b) and restore that one, and that should give you the training to approach most other machines with a good understanding of what to do.
worked for me and now i own 6 machines heh heh

i could not disagree more.. these are great hardy machines.. they work under the same principals of a model "B" machine.. the one thing that can be frustrating is the front does not open.. as you can see it has screws holding it shut.. the ball load mech will slide up out of position once you have the glass door open..

please feel free to ask any questions
