Default Your top 5 mordern pachinko's

Hey all, just thought it would be fun to ask everyone there top 3 or top 5 or even top 10 favorite mordern pachinko machines, that you own, have owned, played, or just dreamed of getting one day, and a brief reason why you ranked it in the top whatever list, in a couple months, i will add up results and post the top 10 picked machines from anyone that post

Here's my top 7, out of 20 machines owned

    1.Macross Frontiers 2 (2015) by Sankyo

it has so many moving parts, it keeps me entertained even when I'm not winning, anytime I turn on machines, it always gets played, so it's #1 right now

    2.Star Wars 2 (light version 1/99) (2009) by Sankyo

it was my 5th machine, first machine ordered from out of state, 1/99 version which is so much better for home use, and Vader music and mask covering screen is Awesome

    3.Castlevania (2015) by Takasago

one of my newer machines, so gets a lot of play, got just enough moving parts, and screen changes to keep me interested, fun machine so far, but haven't seen everything

    4.Monster Castle (2005) by Takeya

Huh, I know, this was my 3rd machine, first one with a large screen, chance button can be used every spin, and even after 10 years, I haven't got into dungeon screen, just will always be a favorite

    5.American Dream (2006) by Sanyo

Casino games, a angel vs grim reaper is fun in 3rd screen view, this was my 4th machine, just a all around fun machine, and will always be a top 10 favorite

    6.Garfield (2005) by Maruhon

It's Garfield, growing up always liking Garfield books, cartoons, and comics. the reaches are different than any machine I have, which makes it fun and different

7.Enter the Matrix (2009) by Daiichi

3D screen effects, I have green frame that's makes it look awesome, just a fun machine to play, sirens flash which is super cool

after top 7, games ranking change on mood, so no clear cut number eight ranking

Thanks for reading, and I hope you post, so others will have a idea of some cool machines to want

    Here’s my top 5

    1. Miss Love Plus (Heiwa) It’s funny, weird, good music, lots of beautiful ladies, cats, champagne and omlets. What’s not to like?

    2. Rio 2 (Heiwa) Great anime, very funny, excellent reaches and music. A must for any Rio fan or anybody who appreciates a good digipachi.

    3. Tokio Deluxe (Heiwa) Possibly the best hanemono ever created?! Good music choices, skill based; no computers deciding your winnings. I like it better than Tokio Premium with the LCD screen.

    4. Macross Frontier 2 (Sankyo) Good animatronics, exciting Fever action with the ball drop Fever trap, good music with lots of choices, Sheryl Nome...

    5. Tenryu Infinity (Maruhon) Skill based, keeps you on the edge of your seat; it’s all about the action of the ball; which is a lost concept on many newer machines. Computer doesn’t decide your fate; only your skill, timing, and the spinning chance of the ball falling through the winning hole. The music intensifies the buildup of excitement; and exacerbates the let down of defeat by bad luck.

    Notable others:

Symphogear (Sankyo) Very good...reminds me of the Macross series, more fighting though. Really good animations, music, animatronics, well put together machine in general; high production quality.

Senran Kagura (Takao) Hilarious, bouncy, good clean fun for the whole family.

Lady Gaga (Sankyo) The fan is loud and annoying, but it’s a good drinking pachinko. it’s got some really cool 3D effects with the projector screen. You’ll get Lady Gaga songs stuck in your head for days though, be warned.

Lupin the end Fujiko version (Heiwa) Over the top gigantic frame with animatronic Luger 9mm with recoil, best anime of all time? Tons of “bells and whistles” good reaches; excellent music.

President (Fuji) American themed arepachi; skill based, cool gameplay, excellent artwork, never used in parlor setting so it’s mint condition for a nearly 30 year old machine. It makes really odd robot like whirring noises during the fever. Uses the entire playfield for play.

So hard to pick just 5

    1. Cowboy Bebop (Heiwa - 2014): If you like Cowboy Bebop, it's assured you like this game. The RPG style and spaceship gimmick really add a lot to this game. The slot is also really fun.
    2. GANTZ 2 (OK/Kyoraku - 2019): Everything about this game is over the top with 3 screens, the large top, intense gimmicks and a swimsuit level.
    3. Rio 2 (Heiwa - 2014): I'd never heard of Rio Rainbow or knew it's history until after I played the game at a Red Dragon in Vegas. I watched the series, learned the history, then bought Rio and Rio 2. Such a fun game. Plays more like a video game IMO.
    4. AKB48 3 (OK/Kyoraku - 2018): Over the last 2yrs, we've had so many different games come through the shop- but this takes the cake. It's in the same frame as GANTZ 2 (different door and top) and it just goes off. I don't mean it did something cool for 5sec, it doesn't seem to end. It was about 15min of "what is happening?".
    5. Lupin the III - I'm a Super Hero (Heiwa - 2015): Every serious Pachinko collection needs at least 1 Lupin game. They'll really fun, but this one is my favorite with the plethora of moving parts, lights and lo-fi animations on the vertical light bars on each side of the door. This is the one that got us hooked on Pachinko.

    Other noteworthy mentions:

    - Evangelion: Super Awakening
    - Highschool DxD
    - Laughing Salesman
    - Ultra Seven 2
    - FairyTail
    - GARO Goldstorm

In regards to my top 5 do you want me to factor in? When I rank played machines I go based off of things such as best payout potential statistically, the most fun gameplay, what I am most likely to play in parlors, best for home use, etc. my top 5 differ based on the category I am ranking them on.

I guess I’ll give a list of my favorite sharing the gameplay category with best possible payouts, and what I play most often in parlors

first I would like to point out the current situation going on in the world has made it difficult to play newer machines so my list may change.

    5.symphogear

I like symphogear because is not super difficult to hit, has an amazing soundtrack, and has a very good payout. It has been an extremely popular pachinko title and is still played in parlors and if a parlor has multiple, there is usually one machine occupied at most times during the day.

    4. Macross delta

Like symphogear it has an amazing soundtrack and has a great payout. Although not as popular among the people at parlors, I enjoy it because the gameplay is fun, the bells and whistles are fantastic, and I have won quite a bit from this machine. I often play this machine too.

    3.Tokio black 4500

tokio machines are well known by this community as a fun hanemono machine where the ball scales the Tokio tower to determine the rounds, however in this version the ball must scale to the top and land in the V slot to even win! with a steady payout of 4500 balls, it makes the goal of reaching the top feel like an achievement.

    2. Daikunogensen

this machine is amazing for its payout. With around a 93% continuation rate. It’s common to see these machines payout 20k+ balls very often. It remains one of the most played machines in parlors and I myself have won pretty decently on it. I play it, however, due to the 1/319 initial bonus and the 60% chance of it rushing, I have not gotten enough bonuses to fully review the machine and will add it to the other thread when I have played it more.

and bum bum bum bum bum

    1. Symphogeeeaaaaar 2!!!!!!

like the first symphogear great gameplay, great music, and very similar to the first machine, however in this version, they added Easter eggs that reference other sankyo machines and the first symphogear. Staying true to its original payout system, they added a slim chance to continue until another bonus is hit. I’ve won pretty decently at this machine and play it when I go to parlors often. I will give it a full review on the birthday of its release.

if you guys want me to review a another category, please let me know and I will make another list!

#1 crFerrari Of course it's licenced by Ferrari ,very slick not over the top design and you have a stick shift that you have to shift the gears at the right time . Seven different Ferrari cars and a really great sound track.

#2 Julie it's Julie enough said

#3 Chaplin I am a rally big fan of his movies and the machine even though it's a One Speaker machine still good soundtrack . Plenty of 3d figures around the whole cell.

#4 Enter The Matrix : Really loud cooling fans for the graphics processor. Great soundtrack and the double one LCD in front of the other very cool!

#5 Batman Begins : Perfect execution of the theme Bats everywhere . Great soundtrack but when you have to get the Tumbler up to speed you have to hit a poor little button on the ball tray like a Maniac . The Machine Frame is perfect for the Theme. I did have the Four Reel Batman Pachinko back in 2003 to 04 and that was quite fun to play but the Batman Begins just knocks it out of the park.

Thanks Goobie777, dream vacation for me is travel to Japan, Tokio black 4500 sounds fun, except for home use, 4500 balls in a fever, that's a lot of filling of top hopper

A home use list would be awesome, your one of a few that experience playing games in parlors and get to see lots of games in action

I mean it doesn’t need to payout 4500. The 4500 payout come in the form of 4 10R bonuses. At least play off two of them to get both versions of the Tokio song.

if you ever make your way out here once the pandemic is done, I can take you to some of my favorite parlors.

Default Your top 5 mordern pachinko's

I stand by my previous top 3 selections, then Takao Oshioki Kunoichi (I am the spanker) and Tropical raised digihane as I’ve been playing those more than Macross or Tenryu lately.

    1 Symphogear 2
Overall favourite for great potential, slick animation and staying true to the show. The Jikai Made is a nice touch, as is tye 10r frequency increase, and the Carol Stage logo drop. Also the first round hitting the V pays out in full.

    2 Hokuto Muso 1
Inevitable this would be on the list. One of the best all-rounders for winning, looks, sounds, intricacies that other titles missed.

    3 Hokutonoken 7
A 2400 streaker, you can bank-build very quickly. I really like the Battle Mode mechanics on this. If you lose, a 100 spin Jitan is adequate for re-entry. The reach patterns stay true to their percentages too and it plays a very good game. You'll be leaving satisfied that you've had a wholesome play for your investment.

    4 Jaws 2 - Shark Panic Again
Has the best animations of the Jaws machines, plenty of mini features to keep you occupied too. Fantastic soundtrack too with no faffing to unlock songs. Has the FULL version of Through Fire and Flames too.

5 Ring Seven Days Curse 2
The only machine that actually makes me a little scared to play....The weak heart warning is true! It's very loud, intimidating, and has a really wide range of game modes including the "Surprise Mode" if you don't like expecting your wins.

Have you played Lupin the Third Resurrection Mamo? The one with crazy robotic extending speaker “arms”? That one seems pretty interesting! I only have the Fujiko Peace gun framed one, Lupin the End; but probably interested in that one once it’s cheaper. I guess if you like Lupin you’ll love it regardless; but from a purely pachi puro perspective; no Lupin biases/favoritism factored in…how does it hold up to other premium machines?

    Shakarina
    Tenryu infinity
All of the Tokio hanemonos are way underrated in the US for home use!

I prefer Tokio Deluxe vs Premium; even though premium has more songs and Kenji Sawada Tokio; Deluxe is just more retro cool and the shape of the “feathers/wings/arms” is pointed, not rounded like on Premium which results in the ball rolling off half the time in the wrong direction! Premium does have the random UFO sightings which is fun though.
