the Mizuho is cute the trunk swings back and forth as balls enter it.. (had one years back) good hearty machines

    the
Kan-Less is very interesting.. not only does it require power to operate (as all Kan-Less machines do) it looks to require power to operate the center feature.. passably to operate the big top to spin?? of move up and down?

very neat looking.. someone should buy it

I wonder what the difference is in Kan-less is vs the Special electrics (if anything?) besides the badging?

Seems like just a very basic Special electric kinda like my fishing themed special electric with 1 solenoid. Also, does anybody know just how many electric Nishijins there are? Somebody in the FB pachinko group claims 10; but I know for a fact there’s way more than that; minimum of 15...maybe 20-30??

There’s the UFO, Chinaman Powerflash, Thunderbird Powerflash, Piranha, Circuit racer, Boxing, the Train one, Tank battle, Super Don, the Rabbit one, Power roulette.

There’s a couple less common fishing themed ones; a track and field one, this circus one.... seems like the list just goes on and on!

The Kan-Les is a very interesting and unusual machine. They were made after the model B machines. But, they were made like an all plastic model A...with electronically operated jackpot solenoid and a "waterwheel style ball lifter to lift lost balls up to the recycler tray. My best guess is the young college graduates knew all about electronics...and very little about mechanics. Maybe the Kan-Less is a "proof of concept" that they could make the machines "electrically operated"

this is the first kan-less i have seen that has a solenoid. I like to use the phrase "power required machine" for machines with extra bits like the ones you listed.. Kan-less kinda screw that statement up since they are also power required to operate correctly..

With a new transformer and fix of the wiring somebody screwed up it still works like clockwork over 40 years later! With no maintenance to speak of I’d say they did a pretty decent job engineering wise!

It is an oddball machine that is for sure! I can see how it’s an evolutionary step toward modern pachinko.
