Looks like a multi layer LCD (like enter the matrix) Fantastic artwork doesn't look like anime.

But, it is highly hardware/software intensive and after two years in Parlor it would have limited limited lifespan maybe a decade before systems start to fail (electronic components have a Best By date Capacitors,resistors,and even screens)

But a beautiful machine.
