Default Sankyo "Dokkiri Man" jackpot jam

Hi, everyone... Just purchased this cool hanemono machine from a fellow in south LA. He didn't really know anything about pachinko (except, of course, that they look cool) so I couldn't get much input from him. Anyway:

No jackpots will pay out or even ring on this game, although all the electronics seem to be working correctly. In the bottom-ish left, just below that big solenoid thing (the silver cylinder) you can see a TON of balls jammed up in there. Any suggestions for getting the flow going again?

I will confess first of all that there is probably some basic thing I forgot to do, so I will include pictures of the shooting mechanism, the jackpot feed motor, etc. and maybe you all can help me out.

    Thanks!

load the top hopper with balls and see if it will catch up..

    ----------------------------------------
    the real problem..

if the machine had balls stuck in it (waiting to be paid out) and the machine was moved / tipped those balls may have travels to places on a machine not intended..

keep in mind the back is a gravity operated machine.. balls fall down and don't move left to right.. if tipped there could be a problem.. machine are never moved in a parlor setting..

the only solution is tricking the machine into thinking balls are in the hopper and jackpot motor then tiping the machine to get the balls in to the payout motor.. not so easy.. sometimes the best bet take it apart and let them loose..

    hope that makes sense

    neat machine

Sometimes you can clear a ball jam by just turning the machine upside down, give it a few shakes/taps and the balls will dislodge and fall all over the floor. That’s the easy way if they aren’t all rusted together or gummed up with something or foreign object.

Oh man, I went and read through that "My 1st Craigslist Purchase" thread about that early modern Thunder Dragon. SO MUCH GREAT INFO and even better, PICTURES. What a great resource! And directly applicable! THANKS so much for linking it!

I know it's been a minute but I did, finally, get this machine up and running and it's a hoot. I'm going to try to enclose a video but I seem to be incapable of ever uploading things the way they're supposed to be uploaded so I hope you'll bear with me. Also, the video is pretty shaky because I couldn't find the iPhone tripod that I was forced to buy during Covid to enable my kids' so-called "Distance Learning."
Since then I have learned that this machine was released around September 1989 and was also called "Prankman."

Well, like I said, I seem to have a real learning disability when it comes to uploading stuff onto this "internet" everyone's always talking about. Let me see if I can figure this out, and if I can get the video to place where it can be seen by regular folks and I'll post the link here ASAP.

RED HOT UPDATE: Here's a YouTube link! I learned how to post videos just like a real boy! Now all I need is a heart, a brain, and some courage!

NOTE: This video won't go live for 20 minutes so hold your dang horses!
