The first Harold Lloyd film I ever watched was "Safety Last", I remember requesting the disc from Netflix back in the day while I was finishing up high school I was taking a film class and needed to watch for class. This was right when Netflix started to stream and still mostly offered mail in DVD'S

I will be checking this out for sure thanks for sharing Harold was one of the best.

No problem . I cover a very wide field of interest . I even did live Theater 1984-1992.

But paying the bills came first so the best pay was the night shift or the second shift .

But getting back on topic the Silent film era open my eyes to what you can do with no dialogue.

And I love Black and White films where the story holds the interest.

While watching Safety Last we also got to go into how it was filmed, so many parts where Harold or his stunt double while filming the wide shots could have died, nothing like this would ever be attempted to be filmed today without the use of wires or green screens.

I'm also a huge fan of old silent films but Harold Lloyd will always be my favorite

His movements were so smooth and fluid that he could make just about anything funny. Also his slight of hand was go good you couldn't even tell in some of his later movies that he was missing parts of his hand.

Where did you do Theater, and what productions were you a part of?
