    Default rusty metal window frame

    what's the recommendation for cleaning up this degree of rust from the glass frame?

    some use aluminum foil

    i like 0000 steel wool..

    if its really bad i have seen members powder coat them on a nice matching color..

    Evapo-rust work good; then use salt water soaked wadded up aluminum foil as suggested, works really well.

    okay i will give it a try. i understand it will get rid of the rust but i'll prob need to rechrome the dark spots?

    Only one way to find out! I dunno, never had to Re-chrome anything; but the rustiest pachinko I restored turned out pretty decent! Checkout the thread with the fishing theme model C I finished up recently!
