    No idea. Look cool. Has spinning reels and buttons and a clock. But apart from that.

    wow, incredible machine! The front maj cards are all mechanical, right?
    Does anyone actually know how to play these?

    I love the rotating light mechanism

    Looks like a Jankyu machine to me?

    I think there’s one member on here with a newer one who knows about the gameplay (seems complicated!)

    This machine is a lot more mechanical than the 1993 Jankyu linked, so I'm fascinated by it way more than that solid-state machine.

    i had a jankyu mah jong machine that i ended up selling to a member on here. it was a completely mechanical machine and like you, that aspect of it fascinates me. i never put a solid effort into deciphering all the characters so i could learn to play it but here's a pic:
