New to Pachinko, Machine questions

I recently came across this machine. I got a great price on this. It's a Sankyo with an LCD screen. When I plug it in it just beeps and two lights flash at the top. I can't seem to find any information online and some websites that say they do modern repair don't wanna go near this machine. Any help would be appreciated! Not sure if my pics attached or not.

I see it now, others here are much more experienced with these but I see the balls off to the side. Sometimes or maybe always the machine won’t work if you don’t have enough balls in the top hopper so if you don’t have any in there that might be a start. But the screen should turn on regardless so if that isn’t then it’s probably something different.

Welcome to Pachitalk. You have a DownTown themed machine. DownTown are an Osaka based comedy team. They are actually pretty funny. You can find videos of them on Youtube.

Do you have balls loaded in the rear of the machine?
Is the dongle in place and well seated in the connector?
Does anything come on the LCD screen?
Is the door latched firmly in place so the machine doesn't think it is open?
If you do have balls in the back, have they made it all the way to the payout motor or do you have the forked "ball blocker" flipped down blocking the ball paths to the payout motor?
How many balls do you have?

If you only have the balls in the box in the photo, then you don't have enough to play the machine. You'll want to load 500-1000 balls in the machine.

Downtown was the reason why I bought it. Funny enough PlayStation released a video game of this machine for the ps1 hah. Anyhow I haven’t checked any of those suggestions yet. Would you happen to know if there is a manual online somewhere to let me know what those parts are I’m looking for?

Hello LordMakoto and welcome to the group

This was my first modern pachinko and it is a fun one. Mine has a different front to the frame but I imagine the back is the same. As mentioned earlier, post some pictures of the back and we can point out any issues seen. I had issues with my game and it has been down for a couple years now. I remember that the CRT screen needed some time to warm up. If I recall correctly the beeps and lights are telling you to load more balls in the back top hopper and play will be on hold if balls run out. I'll see if I can get mine going to compare with yours as you move forward.

Following up as I put my parts back together dusty as they are yet I missed playing this game

The flashing lights and beeping happened when I plugged in my transformer but full power wasn't on. Check to see that the power button is on in the upper right of the back shown here. The CRT display should also light up at this time.

Also, when I removed the dongle the beeping started up again but I could still shoot balls and continue the gameplay. Look at this picture from the lower right side of the back. Do you have what looks to be an old school 25 pin printer port connection? is there a connecting part (dongle) plugged into it?

If you need the dongle just let me know via private message. I'd recommend at least 1000 balls for decent play. Once you get into a jackpot round you will be glad to have them.
