Default nishijin sophia kicker motor issues

    Good Morning All
Thanks for registering me on this site. Obviously a wonderful group of dedicated members for the restoration and enjoyment of a wonderful little machine
I have a Nishijin Sophia , that's the name in the back?

Without warning the moor would not kick the balls any more. Instad the motor made a growling straining sound. I removed the gear assembly for the motor to see if the gears were stripped.
The gear assembly seemed fine. What I did discover was that the motor does not seem to have any strength anymore. I can hold the little gear with my fingers and it offers little resistance.
    My questions are
    1) Is this motor available?
    2) Can I repair the motor
    3) What should the voltage be at the plug that goes into the connection board

Thanks for looking at this post . Please see attached pictures

Could you post a photo of the Whole back of the machine?

The transformer should be 120vac to 24vac .

What is the condition of the wires and connectors in the back of the machine ?

    Thank you for your reply
    Here is the pic
BTW- can I check the pins that the motor hooks up to for 24 VAC?
    Thanks

    A Ha ,

Do you see that Black Knob on the upper right of where that motor mounts .

That's a Tension Dial that you can turn the Ball hammer Force Up or Down .

But yes you can check the Voltage coming from the connector pins but set the multimeter a little higher than the Voltage (24vac ) you can always go down .

Gently tapping on the motor casing might loosen some old grease and such .

Like my little Blue saying on the bottom of my post has helped me solve problems without causing damage (and some head scratching and cups of tea and biscuits)
