    Default Battle Counter Help

I’m bought a battle counter for my Sammy Fruit King and need some info on what connections go where. The 3 connections coming from the battle counter are big win little win and bonus.

Can we see a non google transaction picture please

That thing about dc 12v is confusing me.

Also things like regular bonus R.B and big bonus B.B normally refer to pachislos.

Pachinkos normally have start. Jackpot/ootari. And high Probability/bonus time.

Solder pigtails to those connectors and try them out. These should all be low volt so you won't fry your counter off them.... but as drunkenclam said, I'm not sure about that DC12V/50mA marking??

Do you have a meter that you can tap on those connectors? Connect and check when dropping a ball into the pockets, it should register but something very low not anywhere near 50mA.

From what I can see it’s a contact board it’s located right beside this decal

All of them are 10mV output as far as what my Rigol bench multimeter is saying and that’s without anything being triggered

This is a pic of the back of the frame for reference the board is between the reel housing and the payout motor.

Usually when the cell is marked as 12V 50mA, then that indicates the maximum voltage/current rating of the contact outputs. If they are voltage outputs, then they tend to be a higher voltage (24V to 36V).

Put your meter on CN5 (Start Pocket), and check for a short voltage pulse when you drop a ball into the start pocket. If you get a voltage reading then they are voltage outputs.

If you don't get a voltage pulse, switch the meter to continuity range, and drop another ball in the start pocket, you should get a short indication of continuity if the outputs are contact outputs.

Also note that the pulse is very short, so you might want to repeat dropping a few balls into the pocket to check for a pulse.

I just checked and it’s giving me a voltage pulse when I dropped a ball in the start pocket.

Here’s a picture of the back of the battle counter main board where the blue connector with the 6 wire in the first pic is the one that goes to the pachinko machine.

Does this connector setup have anything to do with the battle counter?

No, that's just the frame output terminals for signals for the pachinko hall management to monitor what the machine is doing. The outputs indicate 'out of balls', 'door open', 'prize balls' and 'loan balls'.
