    Default Weird pachislo-slot hybrid

I've got an interesting slot machine recently. It is vegas type slot machine but with pachislo electronics: it has Universal ORIENTAL-like door and mechs, but it behaves like a vegas slot: accepts up to 5 medals and only one pay line. There's no reel stop buttons, reels stops by themselves randomly, but I don't see any autostop kit inside.

It has two boards: encased main board and a AC1293 P2 “reel-stop” board but machine can work even without it: the only difference that without this board, machine don't accept medals in “Credit” mode, it just drops back in tray.

In “service” mode it allows to set from 0 to 9 levels (not default 1-6), but not sure how they work and count. Also in this mode it shows some weird stat: SET — (lvl)— IN — (coins in)— OUT — (coins out) — DIFF — (in minus out) — JAC 200 — JAC 500 — JAC 600 — JAC 2000 — JAC 5000 — JAC 10000.

If anybody seen something like that before, I'd appreciate if you can explain how SET levels work on it. I tried to put both 0 and 9 levels and it seems, win percentage stays rather low anyway, but when it is SET to 0, it gives bigger prizes seemingly.
Also how to reset “Call attendant” light after CE error in coin acceptor? I tried both pressing black button on a power supply tower and rotating a “reset” key — nothing seem to work.

And another problem here: the “2nd medal” bulb isn't working for unknown reason — I replaced a lightbulb, checked a circuit from bulb to mainboard, it doesn't have any interruptions, but nevertheless the bulb doesn't lights up. Any ideas what can be a cause?

Or at least maybe you may help to find another similar machines (I believe it was made by Aruze/Universal as all boards and the hopper are theirs). Thanks!

    WELCOME!!!

I don't really have any useful info.. definitely a cool find!!

I looks to be a converted pachislo.. I've seen non converted 80s pachis that look like that with the big top before..

It's sort of like how Electrocoin converted pachislos into slots for the English market in the 90s!!

I believe it was converted from pachislo by Aruze/Electrocoin (its boards are the same) to vegas-type slot but without a handle. Instead of strange sign “Meiwa” a stop buttons panel can be installed, but I'm not sure if it will be working with current firmware: it has a stop button board installed, but no autostop dongles, but reels are being stopped somehow by themselves. So many questions, so little answers.
