Default Fever Kung-Fu Gal Playfield and tech questions

I'm new to pachinko and recently I've got a Bisty Fever Kung-Fu Gal machine in a good playable state, but have some question according to some issues and its game process:

    1. When I turn it on after some period of time the screen and frame lights don't light up. Usually I have to press on/off switch several times for screen to show up, or it turns on when first ball enters start pocket.

Do you have any clues how to fix that problem?

    2. Also a couple of gameplay/playfield questions:
    — When claws are usually triggered to open: in random time or some special occasions?
    — It has a wired up gate on a left side. What does it do? I tried to figure out when a ball passes through it but didn't notice any changes.

    — On the bottom left of the screen there is a pic of two balls, didn't notice them to change ever, does it have any meaning or just for decoration?

    — Also there are two groups of small lights on a bottom: left group with 4 lights seemingly indicated how many times claws will open, but right group of two lights (O- and X-shaped) are unknown for me, what could they indicate?

When you get a ball through that left pass through pocket, it starts the X O thing flashing back and forth. When it lights up as one of them (Can't remember which), the start pocket tulip should open for a second or so.

Games in this frame and the next frame Sankyo used can suffer from a start up problem caused by the temperature of one of the chips.. If its cold it can cause the problems you are describing, so I'm guessing that's all it is..

Thanks, I was afraid, it could be power supply fault somehow.

With your help and experiments I found some answers:

    1. “Power supply” problem with screen start was resolved after I replaced old card reader and its control board with a Dave's dongle. After that the machine began to start immediately when I turn it on. Not sure what was the cause of a problem.
    2. Claws open after “slot machine” of O- and X- bulbs stops. And to start it, you should lead a ball through the gate on the left side of a playfield. So, 4 bottom left indicators show how many times that wheel of fortune will spin (and number of iterations is random, as it seems for now). Two lights on the right side among phoenix is that “slot machine” itself.
    3. Two balls on the bottom left of the screen are for decoration. I've been getting several fevers in a row, discovered some new levels (with a bit different gameplay), but these two balls always stay the same.

But I wonder, if there are any japanese translators to help with understanding some texts on that machine?

1-2: appears only on a “red” level with some sort of a timer
    3-6: different level signs

And some texts on fever mode:

I know, that's not crucial to gameplay, but just curious what plot does this game have. Thanks!
