Default PS1 Sankyo Fever 5 - Hidden Daido Tako machine questions

Heya everyone! I collect pachinko video games, due to lacking the space and noise levels for real machines, and have a question that I'm hoping some people here may know the answer to.

In Sankyo Fever 5 for the Playstation 1, I've been messing around with memory values within the game, and found that there's a hidden option that is never unlocked through normal play.

This turns the Sankyo Fever 5 title screen into Daido Fever 5, and has one extra pachinko machine that you can't access otherwise, Daido Tako.
In addition, looking through the sprites in the game data, it appears that there's some kind of competition card to get a prize.

What I'm hoping some people here may know, is this:
    - Does anyone know the details/history of what caused this Sankyo/Daido crossover promo back in the day?
    - Does anyone know what the contest was, or even how to access it without editing the game? (It seems like it might need some kind of controller code to unlock, but I don't know what that is!)
    - Can anyone tell me what the card/contest sprite says? The tiny font doesn't work well with machine translation, which is what I normally rely on! I think it might be a commemorative card prize or somesuch?

Either way, nice to meet you all, even if nobody knows! I totally understand this forum is more for physical machines, but I figure if any people in the world might be able to help or know about old pachinko contests, it'd be you guys.

The last screen is for a promotional campaign that's long over. You might be able to access the screen from the game somehow by changing the game systems date setting but it's kind of pointless. I would guess that they sent something to promote Daido's CR Tamayā pachinko machine, but the screen shown doesn’t really tell anything.

Ooooh, thank you, this is really good information!

The archive link is absolute gold for me too, I didn't expect there to be such a clear official website on how to access it. 3500 jackpot spins in freeplay really is kind of nuts, though I guess it's to surprise the kind of people who leave their console on 24/7 as a pretend pachinko machine.

The PS1 doesn't have an internal date setting, so I'm guessing that the promo card appears when completing the 'stop challenge' mentioned on the site, where it says "In the "Stop Challenge", we aim to get 4000 balls out of 2500 balls."

This clears pretty much everything up, so thank you again!
