    Default Need help IDing machine

I have finally decided to try and get my pachinko machine up and running. It worked when I moved it about 15 years ago. Since then I have lost the power supply to the machine that my grandfather figured out how to get it to work. I can’t seem to ID what I have here. I can’t find any pictures of any similar machines. I have no history on the machine, where it came from or how long my grandfather has had it. Any info would be really appreciated!Trying to bring back some of my childhood playing pachinko!

looks like you have a bit aof a ball jam.. spend some time and clear the balls from then back and reload them..

as for a power source you can use something as simple as a 9 volt

    and of course

Thank you for the reply’s. The balls move fine through the machine, however I do agree that it could use a cleaning.

I have tried a 9v power supply and it still won’t turn on. I have read that some Sanyo machines might use a 24v supply. I can’t seem to id the manufacture of the machine to help me trace proper power supply.

The older models only have 2-3 lights which can power up with a 9volt or adapter. The lights would be for showing when the ball hopper is low or flash when a jackpot is hit.

It's made by Daiichi Shōkai (大一商会).

"Idol" (アイドル) is the model name of the chassis (waku, 枠).

The one sticker just shows that the wooden parts were made by a company named Mori Mokkō (森木工).

It was made in the mid 1970's. The expiration date at the bottom of the patent license certificate is December 1977.

Valid until the end of December 1977. Reuse invalid.
    有効期間 昭和52年12月 末日迄 再使用無効

Used pachinko machines were commonly imported for home entertainment use at that time.
They had them in the Sears Christmas catalog. You could just go to the store and order one but you couldn't pick out a specific machine.

Your machine has a Urashima Tarō center (浦島太郎センター).

The power is probably just for a couple of light bulbs. One to flash when balls are won and one that lights when there's a problem with the ball supply.
So it's not going to "turn on" when you connect power. You manually flip the handle to launch the balls. The voltage will be whatever the light bulbs need.
