Nishijin Special Electric Boxing Machine.

So, I must admit, the special electric machines from Nishijin are pretty darn cool. There are a bunch of unique machines out there, but I think these handful of machines are the most fun to play. I think I may have stumbled onto one that a lot of people dont know exists. I know I've never seen one.

Recently, I had one of those "holy $#!¥" moments when browsing ads. I saw the butterfly tulips, and I saw "Elex Rotary". Then I saw the electronics. I have done a little searching, but I haven't been able to find any information on this particular special electric nishijin machine.

A couple of things that caught my eye. Micro switch in the jackpot arm drain...three different colors of spinners...and no water damage! Also, a weird place to mount a transformer...

This machine is now in a friend's house waiting for me to pick it up in mid-October. Until then, these pictures will be a tease for me and for all of you.

i would move the transformer to the bottom of the machine for better weight transfer..

Its looking like some of the wires may not be quite long enough for its relocation to the bottom. Considering how fragile some of the electric components are on some of these, I'm not sure I'll have the heart to tinker with it much IF it is in fully working order - especially since this seems to be a machine nobody knows anything about. Obviously, I will refurbish it nicely, repaint, and shine up any metal I can. Machine looks to be in fairly good condition, all things considered.

I will certainly have two steel legs made for it to help with tipping/dispersement of weight. Im betting that boxer's arm swings every time a ball passes that jackpot microswitch. Cant wait to get my hands on it!!!
