    Default 3D Printed Ball Lifter

Over the past few months Samslack and I have been working on a full functioning ball lifter with 3D printed parts. It has worked out very well and have pushed 10's of thousands of balls through it with out any issues. We are planning at first to make and sell these to anyone interested. We need at least 10 people to make the cost of the machine go down. We'll have the price available soon once the design and circuit are fully finished.

You have my attention. What would be the price-point approx if you got 10 people?
Does it constantly run or just pump through when balls fall into it? (i.e. sensor controlled?)

Or do you just press a button to turn it on when you're low on balls at the top?

if you have any of these in North America, let's talk.

We're looking at about $199 for the lifter if we get 10 people, and $189 if we get 25 people.

The lifter turns on with a proximity sensor, once the tray at the bottom gets a little full it turns on till it's empty then stops.

Latest design I am testing and hoping to have a proto pcb soon. It will be all Solid state. Also have a remote indicator as an option. This shows the lifter has Power, Is in a ready state , and an activity led to show its operating. That unit can be mounted on top if desired.

Also added a reversal switch so if a foreign object were to find it's way and get caught you can manually reverse the motor.

I have been running them for over a month now in my set up. I modified 5 of my 7 to use them instead of manually dumping and refilling.

This for me was a game changer literally lol.

    a few more questions:
Will you be sending a bucket to install at the bottom that feeds the lifter? Even if you send it as a file, I could print it here, but I'd like something specific to your design so I can just slide it in. I hope to use this on a modern one, a 1970s one, and a 1960s one.

For the tube to the top, maybe have a notch/clip so that it can attach to the upper tray? Or should we just improvise by securing it with a metal wire nailed into the cabinet? (my machines aren't in cabinets like yours is in the pics)

    DC powered?

The lifter does have a bucket to collect all the balls, can either place the lifter directly under the exit hole in the back or make a pipe drain system to collect the balls from the back and front to go into the lifter.
The top of the tube has a notch in the elbow to sit on the tray at the top back of the machine.
It is DC powered and includes the power supply with the lifter.

What kind of proximity sensor is being used to detect the balls?
