Ok been super busy but wanted to make a post about the latest board development. I have been testing this version for a month now with no issues at all.

Tested on my Aria 2 scarlet ammo (awesome btw) and my code Geass. I have run through several fevers back to back with balls pouring down like steel rain.

I added a remote indicator that can be mounted up top. The status shows

    LIFTER POWER. - RED

    LIFTER LIFTING - BLUE

    LIFTER MOTOR IDLE/READY - GREEN

this small unit can connect using a remote cable that can be easily disconnected from either end for easy install in any setup.

The board can be mounted below

It has a fan for the motor gearbox to keep it cool during fevers.

    2 modes

AUTO - ball goes down another gets lifted it stops and waits for next. So if it's pouring in the motor lifts until the tray is empty then it stops.

Manual reverse / Jam removal I have not had to use this yet myself but its there if a foreign object made its way in and caused a jam. It will bypass the sensing mechanism and just simply reverse the motor.

It runs off a simple 12vdc 2A power supply and has an internal fuse

Quick disconnects for sensor, motor, fan and power is a standard barrel plug.

    Has rocker power switch

A few cosmetic changes and I almost ready for production boards.

Pictures below showcase indicator in motor ready and lifting the boards themselves

The lifter board is me assembling as it just came out of the oven. I switch this version to surface mount for easier assembly on my side.

These units are made and assembled by me and I will not release them until I know they are working flawless. So far its been 6 months and thousands of balls and countless fevers.

If your interested continue to communicate with mathew818ply directly.

He has also been testing this version and I think his machine just dumps them like crazy.

Looking forward to the final development. I'm in for one right away, and 2 more after if I love it.

Well if all goes well I'm hoping to have the final production boards withing the next 3 months.

I did not decide to do an enclosure to cut cost. I'm using simple board feet and mounting below under my cabinet.

We are just about finished finalizing the board design, hoping to have it ready in a few days. If there's anyone else interested that hasn't messaged me, let me know and I'll add you to the list.

Does the lifter have a lifting height max, i.e. 3 feet, 6 feet? I'd like to place a lifter on the floor to feed a trough to multiple machines some day.

Also, if I am reading things right the lifter runs until the last ball enters the tube. Is there a sensor/switch to stop lifting and prevent the top end from overflowing while a couple thousand balls wait to lift? I want to have a very large amount of balls ready to feed machines.

The lifter will work up to 6ft, but it is designed to work with a single machine at a time, a fixed amount of balls.

We plan to make a different version for feeding multiple machines with a stronger motor and more outputs on the lifter to handle the higher capacity. It would also have a cutoff switch at the top to prevent overfill

I remember back in the 1970's doing my own board etching (masking , acid etching and drilling on about 20 pieces of three channel color organ for kits to sell (stereo, about 50 watts per channel )

Now you can get the kits pretty cheap without the hazard of acid etch needing serious ventilation

Thanks for the 3D print file. printed it and i ordered the sensor + motor. just a question. you can just put the motor on 12v adapter and sensor in between and it just works. motor is 12v and the sensor can handle 12 volts so it should be possible right? thank you in advance

laat maar ik neem die platliggende wel, want ik las datde tantwielen breken met de rechtstreeks naar het tandwiel design

never mind taking those flat lay, because I read that the tant wheels break with the straight to the gear design

Currently taking pre-orders for the lifter on my Square store site. We have all the parts finalized, just need to order the printed parts. Pre-orders will help up determine how many we need to buy initially.
