Post My new Castlevania Dracula Pachinko

    hi folks,
i was watching this machine for years now, price was too high for me, but finally the past few months it dropped down at about 30000 yen, so i couldn't resist and ordered one.
used fromjapan as shipping service, it's my third machine and they did a good job, as usual
    and wohooo, today it arrived
seems in very good shape, but i will check about the details when it's at my home.
if anyone wants, i can make some pictures of it later.
it came complete with CR reader, 1000 balls and power adapter, but i think i have to switch that, because it only says 100v on the top of it and here in europe we have 220v and i'm not brave enough to find out if it can handle 220v as well
but maybe someone here has tested something like that and can confirm that it will work?
if i have to order a new one, what type will be best for this machine? i need 220v to 24v transformator, but AC or DC? and how much ampere?
maybe someone could point me in the right direction with a link or so.
    thanks for reading

240 to 24 vac transfomer. if you want to replace the orignal tranformer. What Ampage or VA rating. you need to look on the machine.

DO NOT PLUG IT STRAIGHT IN WITHOUT A STEP DOWN TRANSFORMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks for the quick reply's.
i like castlevania a lot so i give it a try. checked some videos on youtube before buying this, but there is not that much erotic violence as some one would expect, but maybe they don't show all the great stuff there
the feeling of castlevania is strong in this one
ok, i will look today for a suitable ac transformer and build a case for it in the next days if there is enough time.
as promised, some pics from the machine.
    thanks again!

    ah, forgot to ask:
in the description it says: *the circulation processing set is 30 balls.
does that mean it's converted to cyclic? i checked the complete machine yesterday and disassembled most of it, but found no cutted tracks or destroyed plastics, so i guess it's left to normal operation?
if needed, i can post some more pics if the ball running tracks.

it looks a bit underpowered for a machine of that age. Have you found the VA rating on it anywhere

Ok. I always get the next size up as have problems in the past with using the exact size with voltage drop after a while. But could have just been a cheap transformer.

It’s probably been converted to cyclic operation if that is mentioned in the description. I guess you’ll find out soon!

You usually have to look specifically for “unprocessed” or “no processing” to get a stock machine that pays out normally. Most can be converted back to stock with varying levels of success.

Played it yesterday for about 2 hours, still had to build a frame for it, but i couldn't resist turning it on
really great machine, great music and visual effects. best machine in my collection. i think it's working normal, payouts are working and credits too.
but after 1 hour or so play time, it's getting stuck with the pictures attached. some japanese text in the middle and right upper corner plus arrows pointing to the right. i could still fire balls, but no reels spinning, no sound. turning off and back on will make it saying something in japanese and then back to this screen.

    error.jpgerror1.jpgerror2.jpg

somebody knows what this error means?

after finding the reset button and figured out how to use it (hold down while turning it on) i was able to get rid of the error screen and it plays normally again. but in case it comes back i would like to know what the error means.
    thanks!

Not sure its helpful, but this is the best I could get from the translate app..

"Power is being restored" "Please hit me right"

    "Hit right"

"Spec No. 06" "Volume maximum" "Eco none"

"Blowing smoke rings at the moon."

you have any clue what the machine would like me to tell with this messages? hit right... what right? press the right button on the d-pad? or shoot a ball full power through the circled right outlet? or bump it against the right side
    oh my, these japanese
i think i pressed all the buttons on the machine before i found the reset button on the back...

Most digipachis you play the left side of the playfield during “normal” play (toward the “naval” pocket), and shoot toward the right side during bonuses or fever modes (shooting for the bonus pocket/trapdoor).

the arrow wants you to shoot full blast, and when the fever ends, the arrows will point back to left side

this is exactly what the "problem" was
my other pachis doesn't have this feature, every shot with full power ends in ball loss - so i didn't know, silly me
    thanks for enlighten me

one last question: at the back side are various dip switches. is it possible to change the fever difficulty or overall difficulty of the game with these?
there are some japanese explanations printed on the back. if it helps, i take some photos and post them later here.
    thanks!
