    Default More information

Hello everyone, I am new to pochinko machines and was wondering if yall could give me more information about my machine. This is my first machine and I do not know any information really about it. If someone could fill me in with a date or other info I would appreciate it.

Moparformances, thank you for the insight about my machine. I did received a bag of pochinko balls with it. I have had one problem with it which the jackpot doesn't work right sometimes. It acts like it doesn't want to dispense when someone hits it. I am trying to figure out the main cause. Otherwise this machine is pretty dang neat. Going to hang it in my wall in my room and get some enjoyment out of it

Really nice looking Nishijin single shot. It looks really clean. Make sure you are not using rusty or dirty balls. Not only do they make a mess of things, they can cause issues with payouts, etc. because they don't roll smoothly. If you are interested, the note above the shooter is asking not to load 2 balls at the same time.

I believe 1963 or 1964 was the last year that a Model A had a tin lower tray.
Beautiful machine! The hole above the tulip looks unusual. I have a similar machine. No hole above tulip...nor those cool upper pockets like yours!
My lever above the feed hole is broken (missing) too!
This is a very cool era of machine...and what a nice example to find for a first machine! The Model A machines are a bit more tricky to understand if mechanical stuff is bent or backwards! But once you get it working right...and watch how it works (over and over), then it makes sense how to fix things. Which reminds me...maybe this can help : https://www.pachitalk.com/forums/showthread.php?40984-Nishijin-quot-A-quot-Technical-Animation

You may be tempted to squeeze together those tabs near the springs near the jackpot dump tray. If you do make sure you have a box in place to catch them! The "ball dump" mechanism is activated from that location!

Can you tell me if that long metal rod on the left is attached to anything at the bottom of it? It might be a little hard to see. It's the one that activated that white flapper switch on the left. Does it freely (i.e. easily on it's own) fall back down after being raised by the metal weight under the top ball tray?
