    Default Noob

    Good Day to you all,

I few years ago my father found a old Pachinko Machine, I believe from the research i have done it is a Sankyo Fever Beach. it was inoperable so I stored it away until i had time to work it. with all of what is going on i now have time.

a bit of a pain to translate Kanji to English to figure out what things do

I have gotten it to work by poking around and fixing one thing at a time, i am still having issues with the tube monitor, the horizontal hold is very touch and go, i will turn in on and it is spinning, it seems to get better after it has been on for a bit, if it does stabilize i leave it on and its fine, but sometime it just won't stop. my question is has anyone had luck replacing the old tube with an LCD? I think i have seen a couple 5" LCD that would fit just not sure if its worth it, still need to look at all of the lights, seems that there needs to have a back lighting or more lights.

Also, like i said my father found this in a trash bin so any tips on cleaning the guts would be appreciated.

Take photos as you go, Clean all the ball paths and don't use liquids on the playing field. It seeps around the nails and stains the artwork.
It should be fairly easy to clean. As for teh monitor. I have no idea. Sorry
